[attr="class","BOXU"] FALLING BACK RIGHT INTO THE SYSTEM IS SLIPPING, FALLING BACK TO THE END New Leaf Town – one of the last remaining sources of civilization, full of aspiring adventurers and home to the Guild. It was a quaint little area that mocked the darkness and death that ravaged the land; an oasis to many, but not to Akantha. For the Zoroark, New Leaf Town was just as rotten as the rest of the land, full of bigotry, betrayal, and foul memories. After all, her mother perished right on the border to the town… it only seemed natural Akantha made it her primary target.
Akantha stirred from her twisted musings, raking her claws against the ground. Yes, it had been right here that the blood had been spilt and her hatred began. Yet her revenge on the little town had never been matched in violence – as far as anyone knew, Akantha hadn’t killed yet. She did beat Poke’mon up that didn’t adhere to her demands, but all of them have walked away to tell the tale. Whether that be intentional or not is Akantha’s little secret.
Long story short, Akantha’s supplies were running low, and she needed replenishment. Eyes narrowing in concentration, Akantha’s form twisted and shimmered, her illusion changing her appearance completely until she was no longer the Zoroark that matched the wanted posters. With a shudder, Akantha opened her eyes and looked down at herself, the spitting form of a Skitty. It was small, cute, and non-threatening… perfect.
Aside from the chunk missing in her left ear, the one flaw about her transformations.
It hadn’t caused her any grief yet – others usually assumed it was due to fighting or surviving, which Akantha played into with pitiful whining and woe. Not only did such semantics garner her pity, but sometimes Poke’mon would simply give her things for blatantly lying! It always amused her how much she could get away with, so long as she stuck to character and didn’t draw anyone’s suspicion… but after all, who would dare to accuse such a small, defenseless creature of injustice?
Ha.
Her preparations ready, Akantha slowly slinked into town, avoiding eye contact with any of the Poke’mon. She would scout out the town for supplies, and go from there. Simply like… a cat in the bag.

hallo hallo o/ hope you don't mind New Leaf Town was a joke as always, a charade of peace built on a foundation of massacre, but Sol always made sure to stop by and sink his paws into blood red sands whenever he went out for a run around the island. The Creed didn't need him to watch them all the time, after all; he wasn't their damn babysitter and if he ever had to be, there was going to be a serious problem and more than a few dead bodies to add to the mound already present in Mew's Garden.
Smiling genially at any Pokemon that looked his way, Sol chuckled to himself. Seemed like most townsmen didn't know his face yet; by the time the Arcanine had stepped up as Bloodborne, the group had already been established as something to be feared, and payments came without end in response to the constant threat of Star Madness. Sol didn't care. It was all the better for him, if he couldn't be picked out by sight; it meant he had the freedom to move around as he pleased. Infiltration would be easy, if he ever found reason to attack the town.
As of now though, he was simply wandering around, lazily scanning the wares laid out around the plaza. Foooood, where was the food? And by food, he meant real meat, not the shoddy apples and gummis that most town Pokemon seemed content to chow down on now. Not to say those didn't fill the stomach, but as a carnivore, it just wouldn't sate his craving for flesh. Should he stalk for prey? In the middle of town? Actually, that might not be such a bad idea. No one would ever know who had done it by the time he was done with the carcass, and the blame would fall on the Wild Ones anyway.
Now, it was Pokemon he was perusing. And when his sights fell on a tiny little Skitty, he grinned. The thing might not have much on its bones, but from the looks of the torn ear, it was a fighter. Without another thought, Sol approached, amicable and relaxed despite his malevolent intentions. Hey, it was food and entertainment all in one, what could he say?
"New to town?" he asked, tongue lolling, the very picture of innocuous concern. The Skitty was avoiding eye contact, so it wasn't too much of a stretch to think it might be lost or down on its mood. [attr="class","BOXU"] FALLING BACK RIGHT INTO THE SYSTEM IS SLIPPING, FALLING BACK TO THE END Fortune had favored the disguised Zoroark as she scoped out some potential stealing; a Poke’mon had seemingly dropped an apple on the ground, where it lay defenseless, ownerless, and ready to be relocated. It wasn’t much, but Akantha wouldn’t complain – it was basically a handout, after all. Yet as she nonchalantly made to approach the item, a giant form blocked her view and she flinched, her gaze carefully sliding up to meet her opposition.…Which came in the form of an Arcanine. Now, Akantha knew a lot of faces – it sort-of came with the territory. Yet for some reason, she couldn’t place this brute, which… perturbed her. Surely such a large beast of a Poke’mon wouldn’t go unnoticed by her? Was it a newcomer, a new shopkeeper? Her eyes slid sideways briefly towards a stall, which was occupied by another – surely that wasn’t it. Yet as she mused, the Arcanine spoke, drawing her attention once more.“I… y-yes.” Akantha stammered out, letting her ears droop and her tail drag on the ground. She would play the pathetic card for as long as she needed… after all, such a strong looking Poke’mon was bound to have something good on him. She just had to make sure not to blow her cover, because a fight with this guy wouldn’t be pretty… or in her best interests, really. “M-my ma and pa live in the Wilds, but they got really… sick.” She added, her face falling quite sullen. “So I came here.”It was a story that didn’t seem too out of the norm, given current day circumstances. Akantha looked up to meet the Arcanine’s eyes, making hers as large and forlorn as possible. Internally her stomach rolled at the prospect of seeming small and pathetic, but if it got her what she wanted, then she would milk it for all it’s worth. “Where should I go now?” She mewled, crocodile tears welling at the corners of her eyes.--Sol Oh no, by all means~ I wanted to thread with Sol anyway. I was sort-of stalking the plotting directory in hopes you made a thread, haha! But you found my open thread here, so all is well~!
