It was a beautiful spring day, the sun shone down and the grass was plentiful! Not to mention it was full of tender young shoots for him to graze on. It was what he was doing now, head lowered and lips reaching out to grab at the grass greedily. Sure, he could have gone inside the daycare to eat or visited the shop to buy food but there was nothing wrong with grass. Several of the kids around him even seemed to be trying to imitate his grass eating habits though few actually found it to be tasty. A handful of other children were crawling through his legs and across his back as per normal. Pharoah paid them no mind, he simply kept one ear trained on them to make sure no one fell, hurt themselves, or that he didn't accidentally step on one as he meandered slowly across the ground eating.
His gray flank twitched as he felt the brush of a fly --or perhaps a tail?-- against it. Many other pokemon thought him insane for letting children crawl all over him but he had to disagree. The children didn't hurt him nor did they bother him, he actually found it quite amusing that they liked to use him as a jungle gym. So long as they were happy and didn't come to any harm then he was happy as well. Briefly the rapidash lifted his head and turned it slightly to peer behind him. He had a wide range of vision but he could never see behind him and he didn't want anyone sneaking up on him or his charges. Sure, this town was rather peaceful for the most part but you never knew what could be lurking around the corner.
Satisfied that all was well he lowered his head and began to graze again, as did the little imitators around him. One thing was for certain, the children seemed to be completely happy with their massive guardian. His ear that wasn't trained on the babes at his back and legs was flicking back and forth to the opposite side of him where the road and not the center was. This nanny wasn't expecting anyone in particular to show up but he just wanted to be always cautious. He was a confident stallion, yes, but when he was alone like this with no one to watch his back he just always wanted to be sure of his surroundings.

Serenity has never really seen the world outside of Ingis town that much. Everyday she's away from home seems like a adventure to her, a whole new world of possibilities right at her finger tips...well...ribbon tips. The shiny sylveon walked down the large grass filled streets as she looked around. She was surprised by a particular sight. A large rapidash, carrying a very large amount of children around them. Serenity had thought that those were his children- since it's so possible, but there's so many. This rapidash definitely looked like that this wasn't his first rodeo.
The sylveon had thought about going up to him to speak to him. All though he seemed busy. She took a moment to mull it over and then she walked towards him a bit slowly. He would have noticed that she was coming to him by now. Serenity gave off a soft smile before asking. "E-e-excuse me, but are all of those children your-rs?" She asked in a curious tone of voice.

The stallion continued to meander in his slow and steady pace, nibbling grass and alternatively keeping a lookout on the area around him. It was during this rhythm that he noticed the approach of a young sylveon. He never even lifted his head but if one would watch his ear they would see it following her as she came up. He wasn't startled though, nor did he even lift his head at first. There was something about her that just seemed gentle, like she wouldn't hurt a fly. Finally, after getting his teeth on a dandelion he lifted his head and turned it back towards her. His soft brown eyes looked her over while his ears noted the hesitant stutter with which she speak. Ah, a nervous one, eh? He'd seen plenty of nervous children in his day and while this one wasn't exactly a child he was sure it worked the same way. He gave her a gentle smile, silently reassuring her that there was nothing to fear or be nervous about.
With one ear still trained on the romping youngsters --though a few curious ones had stopped to peer at the newcomer-- and the other focused intently on the sylveon, he spoke, "In a way they are, miss." With a gentle tilt of his head he indicated the building behind them. "I work at this here daycare an' I help watch these lil' kiddos while their parents are off doin' their business." He looked down fondly at a tiny piplup partially hidden behind his left foreleg while it watched the sylveon warily. "Although I see a lot 'a these kiddos so much that they may as well be mine." He drawled thoughtfully.

Serenity was surprised. A daycare? She never even knew those existed! The sylveon was curious and in awe. She smiled softly, and waved her ribbons playfully at the children. The sylveon was very happy to see a stallion like that carrying and caring so many children. "Ahh. I n-n-never knew that a daycare never existed..." Probably because she grew up in a wealthy protected home. Just a littttleee bit.
Serenity smiled softly at the children, one of her ribbons came close to a small rattata. The rattata grabbed it and she playfully pulled the child up playfully. Soon some of the children began to play with her, which she didn't seem to mind at all. Since she likes children. The sylveon giggled happily as her tail wagged. "They seem to be really happy with you, I'm glad that they seem to like me."
"My name is Serenity, yours?" ---- OOC: Sorry for the late reply, school. XD

The rapidash nodded his head, understanding completely... or at least he thought he understood completely. The daycare was situated a little bit out of the way and usually only pokemon with childrne talked about it very much. Seeing as she was young and that he'd never seen her face he wasn't surprised that it came as a surprise to her. "I'm not surprised in th'least. We don't exactly advertise much, y'know." It was a joke but one that held a bit of truth to it. "In any case, now ya do know, miss. In case ya ever need to use our services or recommend someone to us." He didn't mind taking care of more kids though it would be nice to have help sometimes.
Speaking of help...
Pharoah watched as a small rattata went up to play with the sylveon's ribbons. Amused, he saw other children wandering up to investigate and play with newcomer. Even the piplup which had hidden itself behind his leg peeked out curiously and after an encouraging nuzzle from Pharoah went over with the other children. The stallion gave a low rumbling laugh as he watched the antics of the youth. "Well well well, seems as if ya got a gift. The children don't take t'everyone so easily." He said thoughtfully, chewing on his words as he continued to watch. "It's a pleasure t'meet ya Miss Serenity. M'name's Pioneer of the Nile or Pharoah is ya fancy." His trainer had been quite fond of giving his pokemon long and fancy names. He didn't completely understand it himself and was glad for the nickname they used on off days.
"Pardon my askin', miss, but ya wouldn't happen t'have a job or anythin' would ya?" Here he gave a soft smile as he continued to watch the children around her. "Y'just seem so good with the kids an' they seem t'like ya so much that I'm wonderin' if ya'd like to volunteer here?" Seeing as she hadn't even known about the daycare there was no way that she could be employed with another. Perhaps she was just naturally good and the kids sensed that. He himself could tell there was nothing wrong with her and he had a good gut feeling about the girl. He tended to trust these sorts of feelings.
