Gender: Male
Species: Mareep-#179-Electric
Ability: Static
Moveset: Iron Tail*, Tackle, Thunderwave, Charge, Thundershock, Cotton Spore
Orientation: Demisexual
OOC Name: Ninjaplushie
Appearance
Just the absolute perfect vision of innocence is all. His dark blue head, legs, and paws contrasts greatly with his golden blond fleece. The cotton wool of his body curls into thick dark locks that get bigger and lighter as the layers start to move towards the surface. The last few layers are attached by static cling, which allows him to release him in the form of cotton spore. A new layer is fully restored after a full day of rest.
But the selling point is those adorable, empty button eyes. Look at that adorable dopey face! Isn't that a face that could melt Regice? There can't possibly be anything going on in that little head of his. Or so it seems. That is why he was picked to do this job.
The fluffy mass of cotton around his torso and baby face makes it hard to discern his gender. Because of such cute features, he usually gets mistaken for a girl. Paz doesn't mind; whatever keeps everyone from questioning him is fine.
Personality
Paz comes off as shy and rather timid, like many young mareep. He is as polite as possible and sometimes stammers over his words, which comes out in slow and mumbled clusters. He doesn't like to make extended eye contact and is terribly apologetic. Paz doesn't seem to pay too close to anything. He is always daydreaming and off in his own world and spends a lot of time yawning and taking naps. Clearly he isn't getting anywhere far in life...on the surface.
In reality, Paz is very serious for a child. He is deadset on a goal and isn't letting anything get in the way. He is emotionally reclusive, stubborn, and suspicious of everyone, despite he fact that he is the one up to no good. The pride that is deep within him hates to receive condescending and sympathetic words and looks from his tribemen, so he took up the mission to prove himself. He is a rather intelligent child, though he doesn't let it on. Naturally observant, he secretly isn't content with just seeing. The new sights and experiences are causing confusion and conflicting feelings within him. Of course, being the reserved and secretive pokemon he is, he doesn't let on even a hint of it.
History
Paz was born into the Easter Topaz Island tribe after Dorathy the mareep's village was raided and a Warrior aggron named Slayer took her to be his mate. As dark as it sounds, it wasn't all horrible. Dorathy willingly submitted to the tribe as she was getting bored of small town living anyway. She found slayer's incredible amount of strength and his complete infatuation with her as a strong foothold within the tribe, so life was pretty good for her.
Eventually, she bore a son, which Slayer had mixed feelings for. It was his first child, so of course he was happy about that but...something so cute and fluffy...he would never be the strong warrior Slayer was hoping to have. Despite Slayer being outright embarrassed to be around him, Paz idolized his father. He was big, intimidating, and powerful; everything a Warrior could ever hope to become. He wanted to be just like him, and trained hard every day to show his dedication. Despite all of his efforts, all it ever seemed to be to the tribe was "adorable" at best.
Paz' frustrations began to grow, but right before he had hit his peak, the chief of the tribe gave him a chance to prove himself. Though Paz was young, he was dedicated, and his looks and age gave him an advantage in this particular mission; he was to explore previously uncharted territory and scout out new villages to raid. He had to collect as much data as possible, and if he could make it back on time, he would be made into a Warior-the youngest one in the tribe, at that. With the title of the warrior came a code and law that demanded the respect of others.
Paz eagerly accepted and set out into the world. The journey was long and harsh, but he managed to make it. He had gotten sick along the way. After shrugging off the sickness for so long, when he could finally rest, he collapsed at the edge of a dirt road. A pokemon from a nearby town was on a leisurely walk when they found him and took Paz to the village clinic to recuperate in a safe environment.
Paz was absolutely humiliated by the experience. He had set out to do this to prove he was strong, but now he was at his weakest moment! Most Warriors would die before they let some other pokemon feed them and make them take medicine! However being on the inside of a village before it is destroyed was the first of a new side to civil pokemon that he had never seen. The pokemon that nursed him back to health seemed to respect him. Whether it was sincere or rather well hidden sympathy, Paz cannot tell, but it prepared him to never let his guard down for even a moment.
